The Forma Kids Foundation was launched in 2013 with a commitment to ensuring ALL children have safe places to play and be active, receive a quality education, and to fight to end childhood hunger. We are inspired by how much our COMMUNITY has shown up to help support our causes since our inception. Without our community by our side, we could not have accomplished so much so quickly.

Walnut Creek Turkey Trot
Presented by Forma Gym
The Walnut Creek Turkey Trot is an 100% charity 5k, 10k, and Kids Fun Runs in Downtown Walnut Creek that has raised over $1,200,000 for Walnut Creek public schools and the Food Banks of Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Proceeds from the race also help fund Forma’s annual donation of 1,000’s of full Thanksgiving meals for families in need all over the Bay Area.

RISE Scholarship Program
RISE Paralysis Recover at FORMA GYM is an activity-based therapy program, focusing on function, strength, and improving the physiological and neurological function of the body. Consistency and continued exercise-based therapy is imperative to the recovery process – for both their overall physical and mental health. Unfortunately, not everyone who needs therapy can afford it. If you are able, we invite you to help sponsor RISE clients who need the financial help to continue their therapy — 100% of the proceeds from this campaign will go to scholarships for RISE clients. Each Rise Scholarship recipient will receive 24 recovery sessions (3-month program) funded through the Forma Kids Foundation.
