I can confidently say that Forma Gym in Walnut Creek is the best gym I’ve ever been to. From the facilities to the staff to the childcare, everything is truly next level.
The absolute standout for me is their Kidzville childcare is hands down the best I’ve ever seen. They offer drop-ins with no reservations required, which is a lifesaver as a parent. The staff consistently remembered my son’s name and even his preferences, which made us both feel so welcomed and cared for. He was very young and definitely on the needier side, and they supported him with so much patience and playfulness. Knowing he was being lovingly tended to meant I could actually focus on getting a workout in — or even just take a peaceful shower postpartum — without stress or guilt. That kind of support is priceless.
The classes are amazing. I especially loved barre, Pilates, and Meg’s Balance & Core class — such thoughtful programming and fantastic instruction. Every class felt challenging, energizing, and well-led.
The sauna and steam room are always clean and sanitary, which I really appreciate. The gym floor is spacious and well-equipped, and I’ve never had to wait for machines — even during busy times.
Overall, Forma Gym sets the bar incredibly high. If you’re looking for a gym that truly supports parents, offers outstanding classes, and maintains top-tier facilities, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough! 💪✨

Nice gym overall—solid equipment and a good setup. That said, the atmosphere can get a bit obnoxious at times, which takes away from the vibe.
I really miss the speed bag they used to have—it was actually a great feature, and it was even outdoors. They ended up removing it because people complained about the noise… which is kind of funny for a gym 😂
Also, a small but important note: boxing bags should be filled with sand, not foam.
It makes a big difference in feel and durability.
One more important issue: the water situation isn’t great. Every water source in the facility is warm—never cold, never even feels fresh. After a workout, that really stands out and lowers the overall experience.

Nice clean and well equipped facility. Friendly staff. Many excellent classes. Swimming pool, full complement of work out machines and free weights. Very friendly membership. Highly recommended.

Riley Giadone was fantastic to work with. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the start. He went out of his way to help us get a trial at Forma Gym, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I signed up for Forma in May and it has been a great experience.
Nikki at membership was so kind and cuninue to be very kind to us, greeting me and me friend by our first names, making us feel comfortable. I already signed up my daughter and she loves it there too. The classes are great!
All the instructors are amazing. Our favorite class and instructor is Max at kick-boxing. We were very shy to try the class first but he is making us feel very comfortable in the mostly male enviroment.
We love pretty much everything about forma. The energy, the classes, the front desk, the cleanness etc.
We are trying to talk all our friends to sign up :).

Nice mid-size gym with just about everything you need without the “country club” fluff. Positive vibe, always spotlessly clean, machines and equipment in excellent working order, full and active classes, knowledgeable trainers. Weights, outdoor heated lap pool, sauna, steam, whirlpool, all manner of classes… can get crowded in the workout areas and parking lot at times but manageable. When I go I spend an hour minimum and up to three hours if I’m being indulgent. I like the value for the money.

I really like this gym. It has been my main gym in the last 3,4 month. I like the vibe and love the staff. Super friendly. There are people that re constantly cleaning this place which is awesome. However, this is the second time in the last month or so that the towels I pick (large, shower towels) have stains on them. Like very obvious and large stain that is hard to believe it was missed! It really feels like the folks that clean the towels just throw them into the washer without doong any checking. Whatever that stain is, I don't want it to touch my hair and face! It's disgusting! First time I saw a stained towel, I was like, it's ok, it was missed. But looks like it's a normal thing! Towels are old and they usually have black spots on them, which is fine, but this is totally unacceptable.
Edit after the owner's response: I was referring to the large shower towels. I'm pretty sure the 1000 towels you are referring to are the small workout towels. The shower towels are definitely old.
I am lowering my review from 3 stars to 2. Updating this review after about a week from the original review. I grabbed 2 shower towels and both were disgustingly stained. I will keep adding pictures of the stained towels.

I recently visited Forma Gym and was thoroughly impressed by the exclusive atmosphere. The front desk staff and instructors are exceptionally welcoming and professional. The facility is top notch, offering a unique and inviting environment for all fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, the Rise Paralysis Recovery program is outstanding. I truly enjoy coming here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium gym experience. Also the members are fantastic persons. We been enjoying the Olympic Games Paris 2024
