Just left my first—and last—visit to Forma. It’s a large, well-equipped gym with plenty of amenities. The group exercise room is spacious, though a bit dated and on the darker side. I attended a pop-up class that required advance registration, and that part of the experience was smooth and well organized.

Most of the front desk staff were helpful, but one interaction unfortunately changed the overall impression. Guests were asked to line up to check in and receive wristbands for the class. My friend and I waited patiently behind another guest who had already received her wristband but continued chatting with staff. While we were next in line, another woman stepped in behind us. A front desk member called over to the check-in staff that she was a late sign-up and wouldn’t be on the list. The staff member then proceeded to take her name and hand her a wristband—reaching past us to do so.

I spoke up to point out that we had been waiting and were next. The staff member realized the mistake and apologized, but the situation felt dismissive and uncomfortable—especially as my friend and I were the only minorities in that line.

Overall, a nice facility, but that experience at check-in left a negative impression.

Erin is an amazing trainer. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the human body and what it’s capable of. After I injured my shoulder, she helped me work through the exercises my physical therapist recommended and even suggested additional ones to support my recovery.

Erin pushes me to reach my full potential in the most positive and supportive way. I always leave our sessions feeling tired but accomplished and energized. I feel so fortunate to train with someone who is not only smart and dedicated, but also genuinely caring and kind.

Thank you, Erin and Forma—you truly feel like a home away from home!

Excellent gym. Much nicer than Clubsport. Very focused on health and evercise. No extra nonsense such as a lounge area with TV in the locker rooms. Besides friendly and knowledgeable staff, equipment is very well maintained and clean. Very nice and diverse group of members. Also, men’s locker room has nice spa, sauna, steam room, and all the necessary toiletries. Andres is the coolest staff member. Natalie in the mornings is very cheery and pleasant

Good, decent, family owned and operated gym. Has everything you need to work out.

One of the main pros is the Cold Plunge. They keep it at 45F / 8C degrees which makes it really easy to start your cold plunge journey after work out.

I feel like there could be more TRX stations with pull up bar.
The rowing machines need to be fixed or replaced too.

Idk who this superstar Natalie is but GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE! For some reason Forma generated an extremely long barcode for me that made for a difficult check in. Everyday i’d come in and spend 2 minutes trying to get my barcode to scan. Natalie saw me go through it a couple times and just ended up checking me in with my cell phone number. I came into the gym today and realized my barcode was shorter and saw her at the front desk, and she said she did that for me. She fixed my barcode without me even asking. THAT is amazing customer service. She’s always friendly, always welcoming, and goes above and beyond even when she doesn’t have to. If you’re seeing this, thank you Natalie. You’re amazing!

Signed up for a “free trial” online. Driven by Forma for years. I heard bad things from friends who were members, never considered it for that reason but decided to give it a try since a pass was being offered online and i’m back in the area.

Made arrangements on the phone and confirmed that I would receive my pass after my tour.

During my tour intrusive questions were asked about my personal business and overtly manipulative sales tactics used at the end to try to get me to sign up for a membership while repeatedly mentioning that I was not entitled to the trial i signed up for, but would be issued one anyways since there was a “misunderstanding.”

Not blaming Summer directly, I can only assume she was trained to conduct herself in such a manner with prospective clients. First impressions are everything though and my rating reflects that.

Now, the facility is actually decently priced for what you get. It costs less than my current gym, with more spa-value due the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi.

However, the gym itself is definitely lacking. It’s small and organized strangely. There is no room for stretching or athletic training. Missing a lot of equipment. The energy in there is dead and skews much older in demographic. I noticed most people don’t clean the equipment after they used it perhaps because no disposable wipes provided, only re-usable rags.

I couldn’t be happier with this gym. It’s super clean, great price and, although it’s not very large, it has everything you need. It's never crowded, not even during peak hours. I really value that it has weight equipment and cardio machines outdoors, and the indoor space has plenty of natural light, so it doesn’t feel like a dark, cave-like gym. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere: people come to work out, mind their own business, and there’s no posing or show-off culture at all. The pool is spotless and feels like a luxury, most of the time you don’t even have to share a lane. Great gym.

I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews for gyms, but here I am. There are a few things I wanted to mention for anyone considering this place, as well as for the managers of the establishment.

The gym itself is pretty small compared to others. The lack of machines and attachments is very frustrating when you’re trying to focus on a specific muscle group. The selection is very lackluster. Not to mention, there’s the constant staring from some older men—directed at younger boys and girls—which is extremely uncomfortable. I’ve seen it happen multiple times.

I also want to add that the trainers should not be stationed at the front desk. They show little to no customer service and often hold conversations in the middle of the hallway. One person in particular—Coach A***—has stood out in a negative way. I can count multiple times where I’ve seen my kid be completely disregarded, disrespected, or ignored. She seems to have an attitude problem, and it’s directed at certain people.

Again, not everyone who works or works out there is bad, but I highly recommend considering other places (like Court Side).
