Pilates Reformer classes offer a unique and dynamic workout experience that combines the principles of Pilates with the use of a specialized piece of equipment called a Reformer. These classes provide a challenging and effective full-body workout that enhances strength, flexibility, and muscular endurance – while focusing on core engagement, proper alignment, and fluidity of movement.
Participants will use the Reformer machine, which consists of a sliding carriage, adjustable resistance springs, straps, and a foot bar. The Reformer provides a low-impact but highly effective workout by utilizing spring resistance and body weight to target specific muscle groups. The Pilates Reformer exercises can be modified to accommodate different fitness levels and specific goals.
