My Story

When I was a kid, I always knew that whatever I was going to do, it was going to involve helping people. Initially,I wanted to step into the field of psychology or medicine. As I’m soon coming to realize, college might not be the path meant for me. At an early age, I fell into a crippling addiction, leaving me severely underweight, and bearing a number of health conditions. A little over two years ago, that all changed when my father introduced me to bodybuilding. My mindset shifted, my habits changed, and I felt an overwhelming hunger for knowledge pertaining to building muscle and nutrition. Pushing myself in the gym every day had lit a fire in me that I hadn’t seen in years. It soon became very clear to me that helping people achieve their health and fitness goals was what I wanted to do.

I got into training because I used to play varsity basketball. I wanted to learn how to improve my performance. After years of playing ball, I injured both my knees and was in pain. I met my coach/ mentor.

Through his guidance, I was able to regain strength, mobility, and most important of all, I was finally pain free to play the game that I love again. I am here at Forma to help our members startfeeling good again.

I entered the fitness industry in the 1980s with an interest in helping people stay fit and am still here now with much more energy and drive. I have had 34 years of experience in the fitness industry teaching group fitness. As an effective personal trainer, I have created workouts that are safe and individualized to the clients needs, and executed with proper form. I have always tried to emphasized a healthy, happy lifestyle and that the key to success is consistency. I encourage clients to have a positive attitude and passion toward their goal.
